I chose this hotel because it was conveniently half way to our destination and more particularly because you said it had a good restaurant. We were most annoyed to be told on arrival (Friday) that the restaurant was closed all day and that we would have to find somewhere to eat elsewhere. This is not acceptable. Additionally when I wished to make a call to our son in the United Kingdom to confirm our safe arrival I was told that that was not possible.

They were kind, attitude with clients is laid back, not in a hurry, but not too interested either. Being family run its not over friendly. Must say though that they actually drove me to the conference because there were no taxis.

Taxi service to get there or to go somewhere in evenings or mornings is dreadful. It took me a 40 minute walk to get to Saint Goustain to dine as I got lost and was very frustrating. So I guess its a matter of them giving you a town plan (they didn't have any) and getting used to the apalling taxi service, just don't count on them at all!

our honeymoon in auray was even more perfect thanks to best western. the hotel surpassed our expectations with its clean and comfortable rooms, plus the little extras like tea/coffee facilities and daily water bottles. the location, though surprising, was excellent, with beautiful woodland walks and easy access to the old town and port. truly a great choice for us.

Bonne position, très calme, entouré de verdure. Chambre 3 personnes assez spacieuse (on était 2 adultes +2 ados), Wifi et parking gratuit. Petit dej correcte. Avec un peu plus d'entretien(surtout a l’extérieure) l'hôtel pourrait avoir 3*. Le personnel gentil et a l'écoute.

our stay at the hotel was great! the proximity to carnac was perfect for our family, and the spacious rooms and delicious meals in the restaurant really exceeded our expectations. walking into auray from the hotel was convenient, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. overall, one of the best budget hotels we've stayed in.

We had an enjoyable three-night stay at a conveniently located hotel within walking distance of the center of Auray and the port. The room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious. We appreciated the rare amenity of a kettle for making tea or coffee in the room, as well as the window that could be opened for fresh air. The hotel's restaurant exceeded our expectations, delighting us with delicious meals every night. The proximity to town meant we could easily explore without needing to drive. We definitely plan to stay here again if we return to the region.

As an adventure traveler, these rooms are just what I need to recharge and get ready for my next expedition.

Personally, I found the hairdryer in the bathroom to be a bit weak. But hey, that's just my opinion, and I'm sure others might not even notice.
